§ 13.20.030. Delinquencies constitute liens.

  • In the event the charges for services are not paid when due, such charges shall be deemed and are hereby declared to be delinquent, and thereafter such charges and penalties shall constitute a lien upon the real estate for which such service is supplied and the village clerk is authorized and directed to file a sworn statement showing such delinquency in the office of the recorder of deeds of the county, and the filing of such statements shall be deemed notice of the lien for payment of the service rendered.
