§ 15.36.020. Demolition permit.

  • Application for a permit to demolish or wreck any building or structure within the village shall be made in writing by the owner or his agent, upon such official village forms, as may be furnished by the director of inspections of the village's building department. The applicant shall file the appropriate forms, as completed according to instructions, with the director of inspections, with copies to be filed with all utility companies serving the premises as well as the owners or his agents of adjoining or neighboring properties. Such application shall state the location and description of the building or structure, the date when demolition is to commence, and the approximate length of the time during which such demolition shall continue. If no new building is to be erected on the site thereof, the statement of work to be done shall include a description of the condition in which it is intended to leave the site thereof.
