Article I. Demolition of Structures and Buildings |
§ 15.36.050. Fees for demolition permits.
A.
Permits to demolish, wreck or remove buildings, structures, or any part thereof shall not be issued unless and until a permit fee shall have been paid to the director of inspections in accordance with the following schedule:
1.
Nonresidential structure; including, however, apartment buildings of one story in height: Fifty dollars,
2.
Nonresidential structure; including, however, apartment buildings, for each additional story or part thereof: Fifty dollars,
3.
Residential structures; excluding, however, apartment buildings: Twenty-five dollars;
C.
Provided that:
1.
No permit fee for the demolition, wrecking or removal of any building or structure or any part thereof shall exceed a total amount of one hundred dollars per structure; and
2.
No permit fee will be required for the demolition, wrecking or removal of any accessory building, structure or any part thereof which is one story in height and consists of less than two hundred square feet in floor area.
