§ 15.36.070. Safety drawings and specifications required.

  • Where the building or structure intended to be wrecked or demolished is over four stories or forty-five feet above the adjoining sidewalk grade, the owner or his agent shall submit specifications and a drawing indicating fences, barricades, aprons, canopies and other safeguards which are to be used in connection with the demolition or wrecking operation. These specifications and drawings shall be approved by the director before a permit is issued to wreck or demolish such building or structure, and the safeguards provided within such drawings and specifications shall be erected in strict compliance therewith.
