§ 15.40.108. Grading and drainage.
It shall be the responsibility of the owner to assure that ail premises be graded and maintained so as to prevent the accumulation of stagnant water upon the property or within any building or structure located upon the property. The discharge of effluent from sump pumps in such a fashion as to create an accumulation of water or ice on any street, sidewalk or on any adjacent property is prohibited. If a drain line designed to receive effluent is located within the property or within the right of way adjacent to the property, any sump pump on the property shall be connected to such drain line. The discharge of effluent from downspouts in such a fashion as to create an accumulation of water or ice on any street, sidewalk or adjacent property is prohibited.
