§ 15.40.128. Motor vehicles.

  • Motor vehicles shall be subject to the following requirements. No motor vehicles shall be parked on any property in a residential district that is within public view for a period of more than sixty days, where said motor vehicle is in the state of major disassembly, disrepair or is in the process of being dismantled; at no time shall any vehicle of any type undergo major overhaul, including body work, in a residential district. No mobile home or recreational vehicle shall be parked in the front yard of the premises, but shall be located behind the front elevation of the structure; a recreational vehicle of a bona fide guest may be parked in the rear yard of any dwelling, with permission from the householder, for a period of time not to exceed fifteen days, unless written permission is obtained from the village administrator; provided, however, that such recreational vehicle may be used only for sleeping purposes during such fifteen-day period, or other period as authorized by the village administrator.
