§ 15.40.568. Injunction to require compliance—Receivership—Lien.

  • If the village inspector determines, upon due investigation, that the owner of a structure, after due notice, has failed to cause such structure to conform to this chapter, the village has the power to make application to any court of competent jurisdiction for an injunction requiring compliance with this chapter or for such other order as the court may deem necessary or appropriate to secure such compliance pursuant to Chapter 24, Section 11-31-2 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, as amended.
