§ 15.42.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this Code is to regulate the construction and operation of wind energy conversion systems within the village and within the one and one-half mile radius surrounding the zoning jurisdiction of the village in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public; provided, however, that this code is not intended to apply within any area under the subdivision jurisdiction of another city or village.
