§ 15.42.160. Remedies.

A.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to violate or fail to comply with or take any action which is contrary to the terms of this Code, or any special use approved under the zoning code, or to cause another to violate or fail to comply, or to take any action which is contrary to the terms of this Code or any special use approved under the Zoning Code. The general penalty provisions of the Metamora Municipal Code, 2003 shall apply with respect to violations of this Code.

B.

The village may institute civil enforcement proceedings or resort to any other remedy at law or in equity to ensure compliance with this Code or any special use issued under authority of the zoning code including, without limitation, an injunction terminating the right of the facility owner and operator to operate the WECS except in compliance with the terms and conditions of this chapter.
