It is unlawful for any person to erect, construct, rebuild, enlarge or modify any
swimming pool within the village without having first obtained a building permit from
the director of village inspections. The permit shall not be issued until a permit
fee of twenty-five dollars has been paid. All work on the swimming pool must be completed
within six months after the day upon which the permit is issued. Except as otherwise
provided in this Chapter 15.48, the provisions of Title 15 of this Code, including those governing construction standards, inspections, enforcement
and permits, shall apply to the construction of swimming pools.
