§ 17.20.050. Building height and area regulations.

  • No building shall exceed thirty feet in height, unless each side yard is increased over the required minimum by five feet for every five feet, or fraction thereof, of additional height over thirty feet. In no case shall the building height exceed fifty feet. Except as otherwise authorized by special use, accessory buildings shall not have an area of more than nine hundred square feet at ground level; provided, however, that a garage which is:

    A.

    Attached to a dwelling unit by a common wall which has a length of not less than fifteen feet; and

    B.

    Used solely by the residents of that dwelling unit for purposes incidental to a residential use;

    shall not be subject to this limitation.
