§ 1.16.020. Procedure for passage of ordinances.
Latest version.
All ordinances, or parts of ordinances, shall be passed only after they have been read at length by the board of trustees, and upon a motion to approve and adopt. The clerk shall then call the roll of the trustees and record the vote of each trustee, which shall be by yeas and nays, and it shall require a majority vote of all the trustees required to be elected to pass or repeal any ordinance.
