§ 2.04.080. Precedence of question.

    When a blank is to be filled, and different sums or times proposed, the question shall be taken first on the least sum or the longest time.

    B.

    When a question is under debate, the only motion in order shall be: First, to adjourn to a certain day; second, to adjourn; third, to lay on the table; fourth, the previous question; fifth, to refer; sixth, to amend; seventh, to substitute; eighth, to postpone indefinitely, or to a certain day. Numbers two, three and four are to be decided without debate.
