§ 2.16.060. Collector not to retain moneys.

The village collector is expressly prohibited from keeping moneys paid in to him as such officer in his hands, or in the hands of any person, persons, firm or corporation for or to his use, beyond the time prescribed for the payment of the same by him to the village clerk, or other person entitled to receive the same.
