§ 2.20.040. Oath and bond required.
Before the village attorney enters upon the duties of his office, he shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by law and shall execute a bond, payable to the village, in the penal sum of one hundred dollars, with sureties to be approved by the board of trustees, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of his office, and the payment of all moneys received by him and delivery of all properties received by him or coming into his possession to the proper officers of the village according to law and the ordinances of the village.
