§ 2.24.045. Salaries of elected officials.

A.

Elected officials whose terms commence after the consolidated election of April 4, 2017 shall receive the following compensation:

President	$625.00 per month payable on a quarterly basis
Trustee	$180.00 per month payable on a quarterly basis
Clerk	$437.50 per month payable on a quarterly basis

 

Quarterly payments shall be made following the second meeting of the board of trustees during the months of January, April, July and October.

B.

An elected official leaving office prior to the expiration of the official's term shall receive one-sixth of the quarterly amount payable for such office for each regular meeting attended by the official during the quarter when the official left office. An official filling a vacancy in an elective office shall be paid one-sixth of the quarterly amount payable for such office for each meeting attended by the official during the quarter in which the official assumes office and shall thereafter be compensated at the rate for such office set forth in subsection A of this section.

C.

If any member of the board of trustees is absent from any regular meeting of the board, the absent member shall, unless excused by the board of trustees, be subject to a deduction of twenty-five percent of the member's monthly salary for such meeting. No more than two such deductions of twenty-five percent shall be made with respect to any calendar month.
