§ 5.08.100. Tavern.

  • "Tavern" means any public place, kept, used, maintained, advertised or held out to the public as a place where alcoholic liquors are sold for consumption on the premises, as well as other retail sales of such liquor. The owner or operator of a tavern may sell or permit to be sold in such public place, short-order meals, sandwiches or lunches. Dancing facilities may be provided, but are not required.
