§ 5.08.340. Disposition of fees.

  • All liquor license fees, including renewals, shall be paid to the village treasurer and a receipt thereof, signed by the village treasurer, showing payment of such license fee, shall be attached to every application for a license or for renewal of a license to sell alcoholic liquors at retail. No application shall be considered, acted upon or granted until and unless such application for such liquor license has been filed in the office of the village clerk and a receipt showing payment to the village treasurer of the license fee required by this chapter to be paid therefor, is attached to such application. In the event the license applied for is denied, the fee shall be returned to the applicant.
