Article II. Exhibition Permits |
§ 5.28.160. Term of permits.
Each permit shall indicate the term thereof. Permits shall be in effect from the date of issuance and shall expire one year afterward.
B.
The chief of police shall endeavor to notify each permittee of the expiration time of each permit held by the permittee at least twenty-one days prior to the expiration date; provided, however, that a failure to make such notification or the permittee's failure to receive it shall not exclude the permittee from the obligation to obtain a new permit or a renewal thereof for the further exhibition of the motion picture.
C.
Each permit may be renewed upon proper application and payment of the required fee. The requirements and procedures for granting and issuing a permit renewal shall be the same as provided for granting and issuing the initial permit.
