§ 8.16.020. Unsafe chimneys, fireplaces and related equipment.

Whoever constructs or uses in any dwelling, shed or other building in the Village, any stove pipe, chimney, fireplace, flue, oven, boiler or other apparatus or fixture used for or in connection with fire, when the same is in an unsafe condition, shall be fined not less than three dollars, and in addition thereto shall be subject to a penalty of one dollar per day for each day such unsafe condition continues after conviction.
