§ 13.24.020. Permit required—Cost.
A.
No connection shall be made with the combined waterworks and sewerage system without a permit issued by the superintendent. Any connection or opening made with the waterworks and sewerage system without the connection permit shall subject the person or persons who make such connection or opening to a penalty. A copy of the written permit to connect to the water system or sewer system of the village shall be filed with the collector for billing and deposit purposes.
B.
Sewer connection permits shall be one thousand six hundred dollars plus costs of installation plus a sewer connection inspection fee of twenty-five dollars. Water connection permits shall be eight hundred dollars, plus an additional fifty dollars for each inch by which the diameter of the connection exceeds two inches, plus costs of installation. The superintendent shall determine costs of installation. A separate permit fee shall be paid for each dwelling unit in a duplex or multi-family residential structure and for each unit in a commercial or industrial facility designed for occupancy by multiple users.
