§ 15.40.272. Water line connections.

  • Every kitchen sink, lavatory, basin and bathtub or shower required shall be properly connected with both hot and cold water lines. The hot water lines shall be connected with supplied water heating facilities which are capable of heating water to such a temperature as to permit an adequate amount of water to be drawn at every required kitchen sink, lavatory, basin, and bathtub or shower at a temperature of not less than one hundred twenty degrees Fahrenheit even when the heating facilities required are not in operation. All plumbing fixtures required by this section shall be properly connected to a public or approved private water system and to a public sewerage system.
