§ 15.48.090. Non-conformance and penalty.

Any violation of this chapter shall first result in a verbal or written warning issued by the director of building inspections. If the violation has not been corrected within thirty calendar days after the date of the verbal or written warning, the director may by written directive order the owner, tenant or other person in possession of the property upon which the swimming pool is located to drain the swimming pool until the violation is corrected. If within seven calendar days after delivery of the written order to drain the swimming pool, either the violation has not been corrected or the swimming pool has not been drained, the owner, tenant or other person in possession of the property upon which the pool is located shall be subject to a fine of twenty-five dollars per day. Each day any violation of this chapter shall continue shall constitute a separate offense for which a separate fine may be imposed.
