Article I. Licensing |
§ 5.28.040. Approval or disapproval.
A.
If, after due consideration of the information contained within the application and related investigative and inspection reports, the village president and board of trustees shall determine that the application is satisfactory, they shall approve the application. Thereupon, the village clerk shall notify the applicant that his or its application is approved. The license shall be signed by the president, attested by the clerk, and then issued to the licensee.
B.
If, after due consideration of the information contained within the application and related investigative and inspection reports, the village president and board of trustees shall determine that matters concerning the application are unsatisfactory, they shall disapprove the application, indicating the reasons therefor. Thereupon, the village clerk shall notify the applicant that his or its application has not been approved and that no license will be issued.
