Article I. Licensing |
§ 5.28.050. Term of license—Fees—Expiration—Renewal.
A.
Each license shall indicate the term thereof. Licenses shall be in effect from the date of issuance. No license shall be granted for a period longer than one year. Every license shall expire on the thirty-first day of December following the date of issuance.
B.
License fees shall be paid annually and shall be in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars per year.
C.
The village clerk shall endeavor to notify each licensee of the expiration time of the license held by the licensee at least twenty-one days prior to the expiration date; provided, however, that a failure to make such notification or the licensee's failure to receive it shall not exclude the licensee from the obligation to obtain a new license or a renewal thereof.
D.
Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, each license may be renewed upon proper application and payment of the required fee. The requirements and procedures for granting and issuing a license shall be the same as provided in the preceding sections of this article.
